Founded in 1990 in Luxembourg by 21 international civil servants, AMFIE offers simple, transparent, and accessible financial solutions to employees of intergovernmental organizations and their families.

Members play an active role in governance, with representatives serving on the Board of Directors. We place great importance on listening to their needs in order to provide services that are truly tailored to their expectations.

Volunteer international civil servants, acting as coordinators, support new members by sharing helpful advice. With over 8,000 members from 146 organizations, AMFIE has been built on trust, mutual support, and attentive responsiveness to the needs of its community.

AMFIE naturally turned to Luxembourg, which is already home to numerous European institutions and a strong international community.
