A new Insurance project for AMFIE: Participate in our study

Dear members,

We are delighted to inform you that AMFIE is planning to offer new health, long-term care and death insurance solutions to its members. This initiative aims to offer comprehensive protection tailored to the specific needs of employees and consultants of international organizations and their families.

The AMFIE team is negotiating with a number of leading players in the insurance sector to provide you with tailored, cost-effective solutions.  To help us offer you the most interesting solutions, we would appreciate your participation in our survey.

  The SURVEY

The types of insurance we are planning to offer are:

  1. First Euro Health Insurance: This type of insurance guarantees medical cover from the first euro spent, without having to rely on national health insurance schemes. It offers immediate and substantial coverage of medical expenses, ensuring total peace of mind, especially when traveling or changing country of residence.
  2. Supplementary Health Insurance: In addition to national health insurance schemes or private first-euro insurance, this option covers specific services such as dental care, optical care or specialist consultations. It offers extensive coverage for specific medical needs, ensuring optimal access to healthcare wherever you are in the world.
  3. Dependency Insurance: Designed to provide financial protection in the event of loss of independence due to serious illness, accident or aging, this insurance offers financial assistance to cover the costs associated with long-term care and home adaptation. It also guarantees adequate and dignified care in the event of dependency.
  4. Death Insurance: This insurance offers peace of mind by providing financial protection for your loved ones in the event of your death. It guarantees payment of a lump sum or annuity to the designated beneficiaries, ensuring their financial security and enabling them to meet unforeseen expenses.

As an employee of an inter-governmental organization, the choice of a suitable insurance policy requires attention to certain specific features. The points to consider in your situation are generally as follows:

  1. Insurance portability: It's essential to check that your insurance is easily transferable from one country to another, to guarantee continuity of the medical cover in the event of international mobility.
  2. Worldwide coverage: Make sure that your contract offers worldwide coverage, including in high-risk areas or countries where access to healthcare may be limited.
  3. Multilingual assistance: 24-hour multilingual assistance is a valuable advantage, enabling effective communication in the event of medical emergency or need for assistance.

Stay tuned for more information on the status of this project in the coming months.

Feedback on web projects

A year ago, we asked you about your needs in terms of digital tools. By responding to the satisfaction survey, you helped us to define the functionalities you expect. We worked at length to draw up specifications for the development of the future website, your next web banking and a new platform for future member subscriptions. We have just completed the functional analysis and design study. Now that our requirements are well defined, we are putting out a call for tenders to find the ideal partner to develop the projects. We will make sure to keep you informed of further developments.
